- So VisiCorp bought the Amiga not knowing whether it planned
- to make *new* Amiga PC's. This should definitively tell people where
- the corporations real interest lies. And this, of course, is what
- is really scaring people. Escom had comitted to the new machines -
- PPC, RTG, etc. You have not. I'm not telling you how to run your
- business - you guys have to answer to management and the stock-holders,
- but many of us have stayed with the Amy so in the hope and anticipation
- of the new machines (PC's - not set tops: they are two different beasts).
- When will you start to 'consider the developement of new
- machines'? and when will you be finished? And will you tell of these
- events when they occur.

- Future as what? Set top? PC?

- I hate to be annoyingly repetitive, but: reborn as what? You come
- here reassuring everybody about the future of the Amiga when
- your not sure whether the A4000/A1200 is the end of the line
- for the Amiga as a PC?! ( Does anyone else hear the Mouth of Sauron
- speaking honeyed words meant only to deceive the witless? :-) )

- All the info you have given us is *incredibly vague* good news.
- For all we know you could be planning a toaster-oven with a
- really cool GUI.
-
- I hope I haven't sounded too harsh but we Amiga *PC* fans have
- endured a lot.
